Associate – Open edX Developer

Requirements

We are looking for a Python developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.

• Experience in customizing LMS and CMS components in Open edX.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/MongoDB, NGINX, Ubuntu/Linux servers.
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration with third-party services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Git, and devops practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot platform issues and deploy patches and updates.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Strong understanding of Django ORM, class-based views, middleware, and signals.
• Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI, LTI, and SSO (OAuth, SAML).
• Contributions to the Open edX community (GitHub, forums) are a plus.
